What is Instagram?

Instagram is one of the photo sharing apps which are commonly known by anyone who owns a smartphone. It is free to download and has incredible tools such as unique filters and an option to post stories to followers or close friends for at least 24 hours.

Nevertheless, a part of you wants to try different apps that offers something different but has still some functions taken from Instagram.

Twitter

Twitter has editing capabilities which allows you to choose a different filter for each photo or put unique stickers on it. With only four pictures allowed in each tweet, you have to select the best ones that you want to include. Snapchat

Snapchat allows users to share photos and videos to each other called “Snaps” depending on their chosen duration which can last from 10 seconds or more than a day. It can be taken from saved photos in your gallery or you can take new ones and choose from different filters available. It also has “Stories” which last for 24 hours that compile snaps depending on a user’s preference. Most adults use this app in order to share R-rated media and illustration.

VSCO

Another popular photo sharing app which is only allowed to users 13 years of age and older is VSCO. Like Instagram, the app allows users to edit and add filters to photos before sharing them. Users can use the filters and save their photos without sharing them on the network if they prefer. But unlike most social media platforms, it does not have like or comment features.
